Inspiration/Meaning:
The Changing Woman comes from Indigenous traditions. She is said to be self-renewing as she can make herself more youthful and always changes but never dies. She was adorned in and surrounded by turquoise and was also referred to as the Turquoise Woman. She is the sun’s lover who would visit her every night after. This diety represents the changing of the seasons like the seasons of change we go through in becoming a woman and throughout our womanhood.
