Inspiration/Meaning:
Influenced by the process of metamorphosis, this design supports growth, transition, and regeneration. The wind is renewing from the most benign breeze to a turbulent cyclone. Oya, the Orisha of winds and tempests, is also the goddess of change and transformation. Her proclamation, "What I destroy, you no longer need", resonates with her rebirthing nature. She is a passionate and fierce warrior. The bringer of change in which she uses winds, tornadoes and the like.
